Wired News is running an interesting article today talking about making money with podcasting:

The podosphere may be virgin terrain for the online world, but already the race is on to figure out whether there's any real money to be made through the new medium.

The article does a great job of showcasing some of the different approaches podcasters have taken to try and earn some money for their efforts. Reporter Steve Friess also explains how big media is starting to use podcasting.

What this article fails to mention, like almost every other article for that matter, is that there are far more people podcasting because they love it than there are people podcasting to make a buck off of it. I'd like to see an article that talks about just that - how people are using podcasting for reasons other than making money.

We finally updated our blog engine to the latest version, which is Community Server 1.1. I also added a few things like the "Post to Delicious", "Email" and "Monitor Post" links similar to what you'll find on my own blog. Also - this is now the only company blog! After some previous experimentation, we decided not to have separate blogs for each product, so the former Podcast Tags and Podcast Wizard blogs now forward here. Please ensure you update your links and bookmarks!

We've got lots of cool stuff happening over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
